Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed CPO Mobile Patrol in Charlotte, NC to safeguard clients across financial institutions and beyond. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide excellent customer service with a professional armed presence.

Minimum requirements include CPO certification, an Armed Guard Card or License preferred, 21+ for armed roles, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and inform appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, documenting unusual activity and maintaining reports.
• Maintain professional armed presence while following laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and client post orders.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed CPO Mobile Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a leading financial institution. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, documenting unusual activity and maintaining required reports.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and client-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
