Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver Emergency Response in Signal Hill, CA. This part-time role offers a $22.00 per hour pay rate and a varied schedule with daytime and overnight shifts.

You will provide visitor and employee security, patrol assigned areas, and respond professionally to incidents while representing the company’s values. The position requires an armed guard card, at least six months of armed security experience, and a valid driver’s license.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
