Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Armed Customer Service Patrol to safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will perform routine armed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver exceptional customer service while following site policies.

The role is full-time with a Mon-Sun schedule, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, at $18.00 per hour. Allied Universal provides training and growth opportunities within AUS.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Report suspicious activity and property concerns to appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Customer Service Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Maintain awareness of financial institution operations and report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
