Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Concealed Carry Patrol in Mount Laurel, NJ to safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and deliver customer service and communication.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $48.00 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts Mon–Fri with 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM starts.

Qualifications

• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit required.
• New Jersey RPO Certificate required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following reporting/escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
