Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and support security operations per site requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $48.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 01:00 PM - 05:00 PM


• Thur: 01:30 PM - 06:00 PM


• Fri: 01:30 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.


• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and support security‑related operations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.


• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• Possess CPR/First Aid certification, preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
