Allied Universal in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Data Center to safeguard clients across financial services and other sectors. You will monitor, patrol, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers.

In this full-time role, you will follow site-specific policies, report security concerns, and collaborate with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a guard card or license where applicable.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal histories may be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Data Center in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of financial institution offices, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
