• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and public responders.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment, communicate observations clearly, and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Armed in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
