Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver Full Time in Bradley, FL. Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Full Timein Bradley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and response activities. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
