Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Armed in Bradenton, FL. You will patrol and safeguard a financial institution, perform armed duties, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour. Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Join a team focused on safety, integrity, and community trust.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter on a regular and random basis to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
