Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer for full-time Afternoon shifts in Bensenville, IL. You will protect clients across tech, media, and telecom sites, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible security presence.

The role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures, including verifying credentials in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat - 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
