Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, data center areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and document activities and incidents.
• Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts promptly.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. • Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, data center areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and operational concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
