Allied Universal in Clayton, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Inspection to protect client sites in healthcare and other industries. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while upholding security procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
