Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC. You will protect clients across healthcare and other settings by patrolling premises, monitoring access, and delivering exceptional customer service. • Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the plasma collection and processing location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
