Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Access Activity Logging in Boise, ID. You will safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor access while delivering excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications construction location while following site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor/contractor records, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, escalating as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized activity or hazards.
• Document incidents and shift activity in accordance with site requirements.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications‑related construction location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access‑related alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, construction areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Support a professional, controlled environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and documenting incidents, observations, and shift activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
