Qualifications

• 18 years+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-related records, including issuing and recovering credentials.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, lobby areas, parking facilities, and business perimeter.

You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a professional presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-related records, including issuing and recovering credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, lobby areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
