As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Steward in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution center, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with distribution center personnel, drivers, vendors, and emergency responders while reporting security-related observations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
