As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, drivers, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and access‑related activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
