Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Operator in Stockton, CA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a logistics location.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors; logging visits; responding to incidents calmly; and conducting regular patrols

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in, staging, and delivery areas.
• Help deter unauthorized entry and security-related concerns by monitoring entry and exit activity, reporting irregularities, and following established escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting hazards, damaged equipment, and security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour

• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
