Job summary

Allied Universal in Stockton, CA is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Driver to protect a utilities location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, monitor cameras, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid experience, and the ability to respond to incidents calmly while following policy and escalation protocols.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Control access to facilities by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

• Thur 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
