Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Stone Mountain, GA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a financial institution.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license, a willingness to work a full-time afternoon shift, and adherence to our policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license per policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control/badge system experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution per site access control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests per site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Conduct patrols of assigned access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents and observed irregularities and report to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Stone Mountain, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access irregularities, and/or suspicious activity accurately and promptly, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
