Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA to protect clients in financial institutions and other industries. You will perform access control, monitor areas, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

This role offers a flexible weekend schedule and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, team-centered workplace. A valid driver’s license is required for certain positions, and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks as per law.
• Drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed by procedures.
• Complete required activity reports and shift communications accurately.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.55 / Hour

Sat 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
Sun 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
