Job summary

As part of a residential location team, you will use computer or tablet systems to support badge procedures, respond to incidents, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment per site policies.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Rye, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing visitor access, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems to support badge and access procedures, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and staff. Pay Rate: $17.68 - $18.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor logs and other required documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report access-control concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance-related issues according to site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
