Allied Universal, a leading security provider, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Bethesda, MD. You will protect hotel and resort locations, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent guest service.

Your role includes patrolling, responding to alarms, and reporting security activities, with a focus on safety and guest experience. Candidates should meet minimum requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures, hotel-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout guest areas, entrances, parking facilities, service corridors, and the surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery access procedures in accordance with property requirements.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and team members. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional service. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
