Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive manufacturing location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and use computer or tablet systems to support access procedures. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals according to established procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, employee parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, access-control activity, and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
