Join Our Team as a Security Officer (Full Time, 1st Shift)

Position Details: Full-time, Day shift (8am - 4pm), including every other weekend and holidays.

Job Summary:

• Enforce hospital regulations, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff through patrols and reporting safety hazards.

Responsibilities:

• Protect the hospital premises, including patients, staff, and visitors, from hazards such as trespass, fire, and other emergencies.
• Patrol assigned areas, monitor for safety issues, and report incidents accurately.
• Verify the identity of individuals during designated hours and examine property for theft deterrence.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Cross-train in other locations and shifts as needed, and maintain all issued keys, equipment, and uniforms.
• Work in various weather conditions and handle physical encounters when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Driver's License (Required)
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 2+ years of experience in security, military, or law enforcement fields; or equivalent education such as an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
