Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a competent Security Officer for a night-time role covering a Friday–Sunday 10 PM–8 AM schedule. You will patrol, monitor cameras, investigate suspicious activity, and ensure residents and staff safety in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and a valid NC driver license. Prior First Aid/BLS training and basic self-defense knowledge are a plus. Training and ongoing education are provided as part of this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• NC Driver License is required.
• Ability to review camera footage.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense a plus.

Responsabilités

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Investigate suspicious activity.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information in compliance with HIPAA.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and obtains continuing education required for certification.
• Maintains professional appearance by adherence to community dress code.
• Operates equipment in a safe manner and the only equipment utilized is that which previous training of use has occurred.
• Safety precautions and practices are utilized with all activities.
• Monitors and is familiar with all emergency and safety equipment including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems.
• Secures all areas of the building, checking for open doors and any unusual activity.
• Conducts regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building
• Responds to emergencies according to Navion Senior Solutions policies
• Informs supervisor of any resident issues or concerns
• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
