This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees, protecting company assets, and serving as a deterrent to crime and policy violations. Security Officers are first responders to injuries or accidents and play a key role in reducing workplace injuries. The role requires an approachable, friendly, and polished demeanor with a guest-focused mindset.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 2nd SHIFT!!

Essential Duties and Tasks

1. Greet guests warmly, provide guidance about the resort, and document all visitors. Ensure guests receive directions to their destinations.
2. Respond to all visitors, guests, and employee accidents. Administer first aid, contact emergency services if needed, and assist with injury reports and drug/alcohol testing when appropriate.
3. Patrol the resort to ensure safety and security, address hazards, and respond to emergencies.
4. Identify and engage suspicious persons to maintain order and limit liability.
5. Handle dispatch calls accordingly.

Education and/or Experience

• Strong customer service background.
• Two years of hotel or retail experience with high customer contact preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Meet company motor vehicle policy standards.
• Guest-focused attitude.
• Familiarity with resort layout, activities, fire, and emergency procedures.
