Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Whiteland, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support access control and badge‑related activities while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and documenting events as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
