Job summary

Prosegur Security is seeking a Patrol Security Officer for swing shift at a premier corporate campus in Santa Clara, CA. You will conduct active patrols, identify safety or security concerns, and report incidents to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Job Overview

Prosegur Security is seeking a professional and reliable Patrol Security Officer for a premier corporate campus in Santa Clara, CA . This position is responsible for conducting active security patrols throughout the property, identifying and reporting safety or security concerns, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

A valid California Guard Card is required.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties

• Security Patrols: Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols throughout the campus to identify suspicious activity, security breaches, safety hazards, and policy violations.
• Property Monitoring: Monitor buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and other designated areas for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Access Control: Monitor designated entrances and restricted areas and ensure individuals entering secured locations are properly authorized.
• Emergency Response: Follow established emergency procedures and immediately notify site leadership, emergency services, or appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Incident Reporting: Complete accurate and detailed daily activity logs and incident reports regarding security events, unusual activity, and safety concerns.
• Communications: Maintain clear and professional radio and verbal communication with the Security Operations Center, other security officers, employees, and client representatives.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous assistance to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors while enforcing site security policies.
• Policy Enforcement: Enforce client and Prosegur security policies and procedures professionally and consistently.

• Valid California Guard Card – Required
• Previous security or patrol experience preferred
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to write clear and detailed incident reports
• Professional appearance and customer-service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to conduct regular interior and exterior patrols
• Ability to respond appropriately during security incidents and emergencies
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
