Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time role at our Peoria, IL site. This position maintains a secure environment, handles emergencies, and enforces policies while ensuring customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols of buildings and parking areas, and monitoring surveillance equipment. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgement and escalation.
• Strong observational skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background checks.
