Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Strong English communication for reports and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Retail Patrol: Conduct frequent foot patrols of store entrances, back room, and sales floors.
• Loss Prevention: Deter shoplifting and shrink with high-visibility presence and observation.
• Customer Interaction: Be a helpful point of contact for shoppers with a friendly demeanor.
• Incident Reporting: Submit clear digital reports on safety hazards, maintenance issues or incidents.
• De-escalation: Use verbal skills to manage difficult situations and keep a calm atmosphere.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and operate company equipment including two-way radios and access cards.

Location: Ft. Wright, Kentucky

Pay: $15.50 per hour; after 30 completed shifts pay will be raised up to $17 per hour pending evaluations/review.

Work Schedule (Rotating 14-Day Cycle)

Enjoy a consistent schedule with every other weekend off! We operate on a 2-2-3 rotating shift (24 hours one week, 32 hours the next):

• Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

• Shift Pattern: Mon/Tue (ON), Wed/Thu (OFF), Fri/Sat/Sun (ON) — swaps the following week.

• Incident Reporting: Use a smartphone/tablet to submit clear, digital reports regarding safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security incidents.

• De-escalation: Use verbal communication skills to manage difficult situations and maintain a calm shopping atmosphere.

• Equipment Management: Maintain and operate company equipment including two-way radios, and access cards.

Requirements

• Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Background: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

• Physical: Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift/move up to 20 lbs.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills for report writing and customer service.

• Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Ft. Wright area.
