Allied Universal® in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Front Desk Security Officer for a part-time role. You will welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor entry points, and provide customer service in a tech/telecom location.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required.
• Guard Card/license preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, employees, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while adhering to site-specific security procedures.
• Manage front-desk access by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and other security systems from a stationary post; report issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and communications.

Job Schedule

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage front-desk access by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing guests according to established protocols.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from a stationary post; promptly report unusual activity or equipment concerns.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
