As a Security Officer Front Desk Reception in Rochester, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a retail location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting a secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors. You will manage access, greet and assist guests, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.80 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols at the front desk.
• Greet visitors, verify credentials and appointments, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor front desk activity, alarms, cameras, and communications systems as assigned, and report unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, answering routine questions, receiving deliveries as assigned, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
