What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government utility facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Help protect critical infrastructure by observing and reporting conditions that may affect operations, property, personnel, or public access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
