Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at our Auburn, AL location to greet visitors, verify credentials, manage access, and support daily operations with professionalism.

You will work evening shifts on weekends, providing customer service and maintaining a secure environment while following site procedures and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and front desk policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and route calls, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Support a professional front desk presence within a manufacturing and industrial location while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
