As a Security Officer Credential Enrollment in Wilmington, CA, you will support clients in logistics & distribution and build a flexible, part-time schedule.

You will monitor access, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, respond to incidents and patrol the site to help protect personnel and assets.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain access records.
• Inspect inbound and outbound traffic, vehicles, and shipments per site procedures to protect personnel and operations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining required access records.
• Inspect inbound and outbound traffic, vehicles, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures to help protect personnel, property, and operations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
