Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Entry Credential Review in University Park, IL. This part-time role supports clients across logistics and distribution, offering flexible weekend shifts and the chance to grow with a trusted team.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will monitor access points, provide customer service, document activities, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to assist clients and visitors.
• Ability to follow site access-control procedures.
• Experience or ability to respond calmly to incidents.
• Regular and random patrols of entry points and perimeters.
• Accurate logging and reporting of security activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and documenting deliveries and departures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading-areas, warehouse perimeters, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Respond to incidents, access‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading‑areas, warehouse perimeters, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
