Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in New Holland, PA. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with a base fixed shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. A six-month anchor at a designated site, part-time hours with potential for up to 40 hours per week, and a path toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, maintain logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and other locations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration in New Holland, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience in monitoring and responding to alarm systems.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology for reporting and communication.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): A strong background in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive environment.

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support site access requirements.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
