As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Center in Northampton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

DayTimeSun04:00 AM – 10:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to post orders and emergency response guidelines.
• Monitor entry points, gates, docks, and/or badge access systems to help support authorized access and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, open access points, and other security-related issues.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or communication records related to visitor management, package or vehicle activity, and daily security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
