Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credentialing Coordinator in Northampton, PA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.03 per hour with a Saturday 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM schedule. A six‑month anchor shift commitment applies, and candidates may scale from part-time toward full-time as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credentialing Coordinator in Northampton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery access records in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by screening personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, escalating access concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
