Job summary

Allied Universal in Archbold, OH is seeking a Security Officer Flexible Enhanced to provide security for a food and beverage production site. You will manage access control, perform patrols, and respond to incidents with a calm, customer-service mindset.

The role offers a fixed schedule with pick-up shifts through our platform, part-time hours, and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.
• Support food production operations by following visitor, contractor, and delivery access procedures while maintaining professional communication and a customer-service-focused presence.

As a Security Officer Flexible Enhanced Driver in Archbold, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
