Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a casual Response Security Officer to adapt to daily missions across events and sites in Oxnard, California. You will combine customer service with active security presence, patrols, and rapid incident response to protect people and property.

The role emphasizes adaptability, reliability, and professional conduct. A valid driver’s license and a BSIS Guard Card are required, with 32-hour training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• Must have a driver’s license.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32hr BSIS trainings (training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols and spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents; collaborate with authorities when needed.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
