Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a Response Security Flex Officer to cover multiple sites in the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles area. You will adapt to different missions, patrol premises, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service.

The role offers an hourly wage of $19, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision, a 401(k) with employer matching, paid holidays, and uniform provided. GardaWorld supports licensure efforts for California guards.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day, swing, or overnight).
• High school education or GED required.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32hr BSIS trainings (can be obtained during hiring).
• Assistance available to obtain California Guard Card license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.

Qualifications For Response Security Flex Officer

• Flexible Availability: Must be willing and able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as operational needs require. Shifts may vary from week to week. Flexibility is essential to support changing client needs, ensure adequate coverage, and maintain service excellence.
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver License
• Must be 21 years or age or older
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• We offer support to candidates in obtaining their California Guard Card license. If needed, we will assist you through the certification process.
