Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Washington, DC. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service at a financial institution, respond to alarms, and conduct armed patrols while ensuring site safety and policy compliance. The position requires an armed guard card/license, valid driver's license where applicable, and completion of security training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, site requirements, and Allied Universal procedures for armed posts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Patrol Response in Washington, DC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $35.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 03:15 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 05:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
