• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking structures, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas; assist with access control and report unauthorized entry.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and share relevant information with site management and emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Flex Part Time Mall Center Patrol Reporting in Irvine, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 09:00 PM - 07:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail center.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking structures, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and property activity; assist with access control and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
