Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced for Newport Beach, CA. You’ll provide reliable, customer-focused protection at a gated residential community, with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra hours.

This role offers $21.60 per hour, with Thursday and Friday evening shifts and a program to earn more by claiming additional shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

As a Security Officer Flex Gated Residential Community in Newport Beach, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): Vous serez embauché pour un site désigné et un quart hebdomadaire qui sert de base fiable. Cette affectation nécessite un engagement de six (6) mois.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: En plus de votre quart fixe, vous pouvez prendre des quarts supplémentaires via notre plateforme de planification, vous permettant d'augmenter vos gains et d'acquérir de l'expérience sur plusieurs sites. Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
