Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Culver City, CA. The role provides flexible, reliable hours with anchor shifts and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization, and maintain accurate access and visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify access-control concerns and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and daily activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in CULVER CITY, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
