Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is essential for operational and financial success. Flex officers support by working shifts that become available due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes, ensuring continuous service and protecting staff health and work-life balance.

Scheduling Expectations

Flex Officers have different scheduling parameters:

• Training at various posts/facilities based on operational needs.
• Schedules vary; shifts can be scheduled in advance or assigned on short notice.
• Expected to work scheduled shifts and communicate unavailability.
• For short-notice shifts, working at least 80% of assigned shifts is expected; refusing more than 20% may impact employment.

Officers perform duties as per Post Orders and SOPs, requiring quick and efficient action based on knowledge of directives.
