Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees.

Location: Ellenwood, GA 30294

Pay: $15.91 Per Hour

Employment Type: Full Time

Workdays Available: Open Availability

Shifts Available: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Part Time Overnight Officers
• On Call Officers (Shifts and Locations may vary).
• Part Time Weekend Officers

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Key Responsibilities

• Access control: Monitor entry points, check badges, manage visitor access.
• Surveillance: Operate cameras and monitoring systems.
• Patrolling: Ensure safety through regular patrols.
• Emergency response: Be prepared for emergencies.
• Reporting: Document incidents and maintain logs.
• Enforce policies: Ensure compliance with security policies.
• Screening: Conduct security checks of personnel and packages.
• Liaison with law enforcement as needed.
• Operate security systems and provide customer assistance.
• Asset protection and participating in training and drills.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing as per state/local laws; driver’s license if applicable.

Additional Requirements

• 1 year of prior security experience.
• Comfort with computers or tablets.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service skills.
