Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Flex Security Officer to provide security across multiple client sites in Denver and surrounding areas. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to keep people and property safe.

You will support operations with flexible shifts, learn client-site protocols, and contribute to a secure environment while upholding company standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Staff new accounts until permanent Security Officers are hired.
• Maintain a secure environment for employees, customers, visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk.

• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises and monitor entrances/exits.

Security Officer - Flex

Primary Site Location: Denver, CO

Wage: $23.00/Hour

Schedule: Flexible / Multiple shifts available at various client sites

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Staff new accounts until permanent Security Officers can be hired.
• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
